Poinsettia Care Guide
Caring for your poinsettia
A watering tip to keep your poinsettia looking its best.
Pick up the whole plant and when it feels light, water it moderately and make sure to dump out any excess water that may be sitting in the bottom of the plant (they don't like their feet wet). Then repeat the process. Another option is to remove the cover from the pot and set the plant in a of water or the sink to soak up the water it needs and then place it back in its cover. Water it regularly so the soil stays evenly moist; if the surface of the soil is dry to the touch, it's time to water it.
Place the plant in bright, indirect light and away from an air vent or fan as they like to be undisturbed.
Keep the room the plant is in with a stable, moderate temperature between 18-21°C during the day and around 15°C at night
No fertilizing is needed while the leaves are already colored.
